Level Solutions LLC (Level) was founded in 2013 by John C. Miley. Working in the Workers’ Compensation cost containment industry for the past 20 years, John closely observed the relationship between payers of medical claims and medical providers. Unfortunately, that relationship was marred with suspicion, contention, and [far too often] litigation. A systemic lack of transparency in medical pricing (charges), narrowing of provider networks, and legislative strains have all further eroded the fragile provider / payer relationship. The result is significant transactional friction (under / over payment related appeals; prolonged claims settlement / slower revenue cycle; and increased process-related resource utilization by both parties). No where is this friction more apparent than on out-of-network and large dollar medical claims.
Mediate to Mitigate
Level was established with the unique goal of working between the payer and the provider to mediate fair, equitable, and prompt settlements on large dollar medical claims. In doing so, Level successfully mitigates medical costs and transactional friction.
The Level result: The payer saves money by paying a fair reimbursement. The provider receives an equitable and prompt payment. And both parties benefit from a settled claim.
